Candidate for Re-Election — Cape May County Commissioner

Commissioner Andrew Bulakowski was elected to the Cape May County Board of County Commissioners in November 2022, bringing with him a strong background in labor leadership, community planning, and decades of volunteer service.
A proud resident of Lower Township, Commissioner Bulakowski currently serves as a Senior Council Representative with the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters. His career in organized labor has been marked by a deep commitment to advocating for workers, strengthening the trades, and promoting economic development throughout the region.
In addition to his role on the Board of County Commissioners, Commissioner Bulakowski serves on the Cape May County Planning Board and the County Development Review Board, where he plays an active role in shaping responsible growth and long-term planning for the county. He previously served as Vice Chairman of the Lower Township Planning Board and was Cape May County’s representative to the New Jersey Planning Board Officials’ Executive Board.
Commissioner Bulakowski’s lifelong dedication to community service has been recognized at the highest levels. In 2015, he was honored with the United States Presidential Volunteer Service Award for lifetime achievement and commitment to volunteerism—a reflection of decades spent improving the lives of others throughout Cape May County and beyond.
